Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Dubai Festival City is seeking a Guest Experience Specialist to welcome guests with warmth and provide exceptional service across our four-hotel cluster. You will engage with guests, coordinate maintenance requests, and ensure a memorable stay while upholding our brand standards and safety guidelines.

We value friendly, energetic individuals with strong English communication who can adapt to guest priorities and work across teams to deliver impeccable service and room

Qualifications

• At least 2 years prior experience in a similar role in a 4*-5* property.
• Good communication skills.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hotel in your qualified trade to the desired standard shift inspection and rectification.
• Knowledge of Fire Alarm System network/ELV system network such as EBS, PA system, CCTV, ANPR etc.
• Knowledge of Fire Fighting System network/Kitchen hood Ansul system, LPG monitoring system.
• Experience in AutoCAD.
• Complete work orders as requested by the Chief Engineer to meet customer requirements.
• Initiate/identify project work required throughout the hotel.
• Implement and action the preventative maintenance program.
• Demonstrate flexibility in changing the work schedule in light of guest priorities.

The InterContinental Hotels Group at Dubai Festival City consists of four hotels. A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Maintain the hotel in your qualified trade to the desired standard shift inspection and rectification.
• Knowledge of Fire Alarm System network/ELV system network such as EBS, PA system, CCTV, ANPR etc.
• Knowledge of Fire Fighting System network/Kitchen hood Ansul system, LPG monitoring system.
• Knowledge of (DM) Dubai Municipality and (DCD) Dubai Civil Defence regulations.
• Experience in AutoCAD.
• Complete work orders as requested by the Chief Engineer to meet customer requirements.
• Initiate/identify project work required throughout the hotel.
• Implement and action the preventative maintenance program.
• Demonstrate flexibility in changing the work schedule in light of guest priorities.
• General building minor maintenance repairs.
• Ensure pool chemical level is in accordance with legislative requirements, is vacuumed and surrounding area maintained to standards established.
• Ensure plant rooms are checked and cleaned and are in operating order.
• Carry pager and respond to requests from departments regarding minor maintenance issues throughout the day.
• Conduct lighting checks to ensure all globes are in working order.
• Investigate reported faults for laundry and kitchen equipment.
• Carry out any minor repairs to guest rooms or public areas.
• Liaise directly with departments regarding the completion of work orders and prioritise in order of guest satisfaction.
