Job summary

PPOAR is seeking an Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. You will manage day-to-day accounting, prepare financial statements, monitor cash flow and assist with audits and tax filings. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in accounting and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong English communication skills.

Experience with MS Office and QuickBooks is preferred. Egyptian nationality is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Egyptian nationality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections
• Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
• Provide support for tax filings and audits
• Handle any other accounting tasks as assigned
