Job summary

Stantec in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil Inspector to oversee sewage, stormwater, and water distribution projects, including rehabilitation works. You will undertake investigations, planning, tendering, contract administration and construction supervision.

The role requires at least 5 years' experience in sewer rehab and infrastructure supervision, a Civil Diploma/Degree, strong survey skills with modern instruments, and fluency in English. TAQA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma/Degree in Civil.
• 5+ years in Sewage/Sewerage rehab and infrastructure supervision.
• Experience with survey work using modern instruments and recording site measurements.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• TAQA experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients and contractors to confirm project requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports and site records.
• Perform civil/structural tests and ensure workmanship quality.
• Coordinate non-conforming works and corrective actions.
• Liaise with globally distributed teams to facilitate tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and QA procedures.
