The Services Sales Expert has a significant influence on the development and growth of new Services business and maintains effective relationships with senior executives in assigned accounts. They are responsible for ensuring business growth through development activities and delivering in line with organizational strategy. This role represents SAP Services from a sales and business development perspective and contributes to the success of customer and partner relationships. It involves generating qualified opportunities and closing deals by understanding customer challenges and expanding SAP Services within assigned accounts.

Account and Stakeholder Management
  1. Build a foundation within assigned accounts for future Services opportunities.
  2. Understand each key customer's technology footprint, strategic plans, and competitive landscape.
  3. Serve as the single point of contact for SAP Services within the account.
  4. Develop and deliver comprehensive Services account plans addressing customer priorities.
  5. Contribute to the long-term success of customer and partner relationships.
  6. Coordinate resources and deploy teams to execute successful sales strategies.
Commercial Accountability
  1. Achieve booking and revenue targets for Services in assigned accounts.
  2. Manage opportunities, bids, and deal closures through the sales cycle.
  3. Shape compliant deals aligned with governance and controls.
  4. Advance and close sales opportunities based on strategic plans.
  5. Sell the full Services portfolio aligned with customer needs.
  6. Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
Service Delivery Management
  1. Ensure smooth hand-over to delivery teams with contracts in place.
  2. Manage all commercial aspects supporting delivery teams.
Collaborative Working Environment
  1. Act as a key team member within the extended Sales Account team.
  2. Leverage self-awareness to optimize strengths and address weaknesses.
  3. Treat customers and colleagues with respect and fairness.
  4. Collaborate effectively within the SAP ecosystem and partners.
Functional Experience
  • Proven success in medium to large transactions and sales campaigns, especially in IT application services.
  • Experience managing customers and partners.
  • 10+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in enterprise software/services.
  • Track record of value and solution selling in large accounts.
  • Deep industry/domain expertise.
Partner Ecosystem Expertise
  • Knowledge of SAP partners, competitors, and regional IT industry.
  • Effective collaboration with SAP partners for joint deals and business development.
International Experience
  • Experience with multinational customers and working across regions.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree; MBA advantageous.
  • Recognized sales training, especially in negotiation skills.
Language Requirement

Fluency in English.
