Responsibilities

The Compressor Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhauling of air compressors, especially screw air compressors and their accessories. The role includes diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, conducting overhauls, and ensuring the optimal functioning of compressors to support uninterrupted operations. Candidates with sound experience in electrical and electronics will have an added advantage.

• Maintenance - Regularly service screw compressors, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Troubleshooting - Identify and fix mechanical, electrical, and electronics issues in compressors to minimize downtime.
• Overhauling - Complete disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of screw compressors and, if applicable, electrical and electronics components.
• Installation & Commissioning - Assist in installing and commissioning new compressors.
• Documentation - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Safety Compliance - Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Maximum of 8 years of experience in the air compressor industry, with knowledge of compressor repair or overhauling, including electrical and electronic components.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with good communication skills.
• Keen to develop multiple skills.

Experience in the air compressor industry with a strong background in electrical and electronic component repair is essential.
