Job Description

  • Conduct annual and five-year inspections and services of all life-saving appliances.
  • Perform dynamic and static load testing of lifeboat and rescue boat launching appliances.
  • Prepare, plan, and schedule projects.
  • Track and monitor project progress and report to management.

Life Raft (Throw Overboard / Freefall)

  • Conduct periodic inspection, service, and certification.
  • Perform repair and maintenance of life rafts.
  • Have knowledge of class/flag certification.

Conduct periodic inspection, service, and certification of:

  • Fixed firefighting systems such as Novec systems, FM 200 systems, CO2 systems, water mist systems, foam systems, dry powder systems, breathing apparatus, EEBD, medical oxygen systems, life jackets, and immersion suits.
  • Perform cylinder hydrostatic pressure testing and refills in accordance with standards.
  • Use hand tools and power tools.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or engineering degree in any stream.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the marine field.
  • Able to understand basic English and follow work instructions from clients, supervisors, and managers.
