Service & Maintenance: Provide repair, troubleshooting, and installation of welding & cutting products. Educate customers/distributors/agents on product techniques. Generate after-sales revenue.
Repair & Troubleshooting: Ensure high-standard servicing within agreed timelines. Provide alternative solutions if repairs are delayed. Diagnose root causes and advise on replacing only defective parts.
Reporting & Installation: Report daily activities via Innosoft. Lead installation from start to finish, including pre-installation planning, testing, training, commissioning, and handover.
Sales & Lead Generation: Create spare parts lists, initiate discussions on critical spare parts, ensure the use of genuine parts, and report on leads for retrofits.
Customer Engagement: Conduct regular visits for sales and lead generation, understand customer activities, and maintain documentation of installed bases and machine details.
Training & Demonstrations: Train customers and distributors on operation and maintenance. Conduct product demonstrations at customer locations and ESAB centers.
Key Interfaces: Collaborate with customers, distributors, logistics, sales, product management, and after-sales teams.
Qualifications
Language: Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or higher.
Technical Skills: Self-motivated, commercially focused, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills. Ability to improvise and resolve product queries. Valid local driving license required.
Experience: 4-6 years as a service technician in the welding and cutting industry.
Mobility: Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
