Job Description:
We are looking for a competent and hands-on Service Technician – ECS & TVS to support the maintenance, servicing, and testing of Environmental Control Systems and Tunnel Ventilation Systems. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of control panels, field devices, and HVAC-related systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operation in compliance with technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned monthly service tasks (PM/CM) for ECS and TVS systems.
- Perform servicing, troubleshooting, and testing of HVAC control panels, field instruments, motors, valves, and related components.
- Interpret and work with P&ID loops, system architecture drawings, and wiring schematics during maintenance and commissioning.
- Prepare and submit detailed monthly service completion reports, location-wise and task-specific.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams and client-side zone engineers to resolve testing and operational issues.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and safety compliance for all on-site activities.
- Identify system performance issues and escalate them in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper completion of all assigned field testing and commissioning tasks.
- Communicate clearly in English—both written and spoken—for reporting and coordination purposes.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Qualifications BE or Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / E&I
- Proven experience in servicing ECS and TVS systems, including AHUs, FCUs, MSDs, CV/MD controllers, and control panels.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical motors/pumps, dosing pumps, control valves, and instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience with Rockwell PLCs; familiarity with Honeywell, Siemens, or TREND DDCs is a plus.
- Strong understanding of international standards related to electrical systems, instrumentation, and HVAC/BMS.
- Capable of calibrating field devices using PLC/DDC programming interfaces.
- Experience in reading and interpreting P&ID, system architecture, and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Prior exposure to UAE projects or regional standards is considered an advantage.
- Good physical fitness to perform field service work in tunnels and technical environments.
- Proficient in English communication and report writing.
