This Position reports to: Service Manager PAEN UAE Cluster

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

The work model for the role is: onsite. This role is contributing to the Energy Industries Service in United Arab Emirates. Main stakeholders are [insert main stakeholder groups if available].

  • Penetrate IB by mapping customer assets and promote various upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions to benefit customers and ABB.
  • Plan and implement service/maintenance visits.
  • Analyze, report and develop business cases.
  • Issue budgets and track accounts revenue. Understand the channel strategy and establish related prices; prepare sales plans, review them and propose recovery plans when needed.
  • Support Life Cycle Management. Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities by using market trend information and identifying potential new service portfolios.
  • Act as a marketer/salesperson of ABB's service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).
