Job Description


Position Overview
The Service Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and expanding the after-sales business for elevators, escalators, and moving walkways. This role involves leading the service sales team, fostering client relationships, securing contract renewals, and identifying growth opportunities in the UAE market. Acting as the primary liaison between customers and internal technical teams, the manager ensures timely resolution of service needs and continuous business development.

Reports to: Regional Service Director / Country Manager

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Sales Management
    • Lead and manage the UAE-based service sales team, setting monthly and quarterly targets aligned with business goals.
    • Identify and develop key markets, clients, and growth opportunities for service and maintenance contracts.
    • Ensure timely and competitive repair and modernization offers are sent to clients within 24 hours of receiving requests for repair (RRF).
    • Implement local and regional service sales strategies to grow the portfolio and protect market share from competitors.
  2. Client & Contract Management
    • Ensure all contract renewals are communicated to clients at least 90 days in advance of expiration.
    • Drive strong, long-term client relationships through routine client visits, satisfaction surveys, and proactive communication.
    • Secure and negotiate long-term maintenance agreements and ensure timely closure of service-related opportunities.
    • Capture client feedback at scheduled intervals and act on areas for improvement to enhance retention.
  3. Team Leadership & Performance
    • Mentor, coach, and develop the service sales team to achieve high performance and engagement.
    • Evaluate individual and team performance using KPIs including renewals closed, response times, NPS scores, and revenue targets.
    • Foster a culture of customer-centricity, continuous improvement, and team collaboration.
    • Identify and nurture talents within the team to support succession planning and regional business continuity.
  4. Financial & Operational Oversight
    • Ensure accurate forecasting and tracking of service sales revenue and contribution margins.
    • Collaborate with finance teams to follow up on outstanding payments and support collection efforts.
    • Monitor and report on regional business performance, pipeline status, and sales funnel development using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or equivalent).
    • Review and manage profitability of contracts, and ensure full alignment with company pricing strategy.
  5. Compliance & Reporting
    • Adhere to all company safety policies, local labor and commercial regulations, and SGS compliance frameworks.
    • Maintain proper documentation and system updates for all service quotations, contracts, and client interactions.
    • Participate in internal and external audits and support ISO quality standards and certifications.
Candidate Profile
  1. Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or Business Administration (Sales, Marketing).
    • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Sales, with at least 5 years in Service Sales within the elevator/escalator industry or related technical sectors.
    • Experience in the UAE elevator market is a must.
    • Proven experience in managing teams and exceeding sales targets in a service environment.
  2. Skills & Competencies
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand technical service offerings and translate them into value for clients.
    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems.
    • Strong knowledge of contract structures, payment terms, and market dynamics in the UAE.
    • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong plus.
