Job summary

Eaton in Dubai seeks a seasoned Electrical Service Sales professional to grow revenue for Power Quality/UPS services across Abu Dhabi and Al-Ain. You will manage key customer relationships, map installed bases, and drive brown-field upgrades and replacements with our authorized service network.

Responsibilities include forecasting revenue, preparing service quotations, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring top-notch site safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Service Sales.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual service revenue goals for Power Quality / UPS and provide forecasts.
• Manage direct relationships with Key-End users for installed base and UPS replacements/upgrades.
• Analyze equipment status and recommend replacement schedules.
• Interface with maintenance, engineering, and facility managers on site.
• Develop service quotations with centralized resources.
• Explain Eaton's advantages for upgrade/replacement scenarios and conduct on-site visits.
• Create customer accounts, registrations, and track leads.
• Provide basic application information via phone or on-site consultations; coordinate 24/7 on-call support.
• Manage service contracts as single point of contact and pursue additional sales.
• Keep up with product tech and safety procedures; train others as needed.

The primary function of this role is to sell and support life cycle services for Eaton UPS, as well as brownfield UPS replacement and upgrades, specifically targeting customers within Abu Dhabi and Al-Ain. The responsibilities include providing both sales and technical assistance, working closely with authorized service providers, customers, end users, and area sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and support. By fostering strong relationships and collaborating with all stakeholders, this role aims to deliver excellent service and help drive successful outcomes for our customers.

What you’ll do:

• Achieve annual service revenue goal for Power Quality / UPS. Provide accurate sales forecasting and customer relationship management data on revenue streams for the mapped installed base.
• Manage direct relationships with Key-End users to map the installed base and secure Brown-field UPS replacement and upgrade opportunities.
• Analyze and provide advice for customers’ existing equipment status and recommended replacement schedules.
• Communication skills must be adequate to interface effectively with all external stakeholders including the maintenance/engineering/facility managers on the site.
• Develop timely and accurate service quotations with the help of centralized resources.
• Understand competitor’s offerings and articulate Eaton’s competitive advantages for upgrade & replacement scenarios. Schedule and conduct frequent Face to face visits with customers across the assigned geography, to educate the customer on the component life cycle aspects.
• Responsible for creating customer accounts, company registrations, tracking and recording leads generated
• Provide customers with basic application information via phone or on-site consultation and utilize the service provider network for 24-hour x 7 days a week on-call duty and respond to emergencies with minimal notification.
• Responsible for managing specific service contract/s as the single point of contact interfacing into customer organization, while working to drive additional sales in those specific service contract/s (including 24x7) and provide services quote when required.
• Continuously improve personal, technical, and professional business skills enabling incumbent to service products to customer’s satisfaction through keeping current with product technology as measured by the ability to troubleshoot and repair various products and to instruct others. Demonstrate safety consciousness in equipment handling, electrical and electronic procedures, and the unique situations encountered at diverse work sites.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Service Sales

Skills:

• Strong communication skills both oral and written. Strong computer skills. A driving license is a must.
• Good understanding of testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing of UPS.
• Experience in planning, managing site work, coordinating small to medium projects for preventative maintenance, replacements, and upgradations.
• Understand the proper use of hand-tools, and when it is appropriate to use insulated tools. Understand the need for safety, and comply with company and customer rules on safety
• Skilled with Microsoft office products and CRM systems like Salesforce.
• Must be self-motivated. Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and balance workload with the ability to leverage support personnel to meet customer and organizational needs
• Knowledge of key customers within Abu Dhabi and Al-Ain.
