Job description

Job Purpose:

To effectively manage the service team to achieve the targeted sales volume in the company's market observation area, exploit potential fully, and secure the company's revenues.

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in planning structural measures for the service area.
  2. Plan and check workshop equipment, furnishings, fixtures, operating resources, and tools.
  3. Monitor the use of organizational resources.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and laws for the Service area on behalf of dealership management.
  5. Represent legal aspects of services externally and within other dealership departments.
  6. Organize the preparation of internal services.
  7. Pass on information promptly and ensure clear storage of information.
  8. Promote continuous utilization of workshop rates and monitor according to CPS and IDSS.
  9. Specify process procedures for services, considering rationalization and IT possibilities.
  10. Organize and monitor product improvements, warranty, and goodwill matters.
  11. Assess improvement suggestions relevant to the service area.
  12. Participate in workshop surveys and ensure efficient service reception.
  13. Organize regional market observation related to services and specify service offerings based on market and target groups.
  14. Establish service market potential and monitor its exploitation.
  15. Create and implement marketing and advertising plans for services.
  16. Ensure quality customer care and manage customer contacts.
  17. Handle customer complaints and claims.
  18. Monitor environmental regulations and ensure adherence, including disposal contracts and proper storage of disposal products.
  19. Specify requirements for training and further education.
  20. Support personnel within managerial responsibilities and planning.
  21. Conduct annual assessments of personnel under their command.
  22. Motivate personnel and organize regular meetings with technicians.
  23. Manage budgets related to advertising, equipment, renovations, training, and parts sales.
  24. Prepare monthly turnover plans and compare targets to actuals, implementing countermeasures if needed.
  25. Monitor sales cost trends and react accordingly.
  26. Provide excellent customer service and maintain standards to meet business objectives.
  27. Build and sustain effective relations with key customers.
  28. Drive customer satisfaction and suggest innovative customer relationship solutions.
  29. Promote team orientation and communicate clear performance objectives.
  30. Build team spirit and foster open communication.
  31. Establish a compelling vision, align strategies with company objectives, and ensure team commitment to the mission and values.
  32. Manage, motivate, train, and develop team members, ensuring compliance with procedures.

Candidate Specifications:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience as a service manager or in a related role.
  • Technical Diploma/Degree with strong technical experience.
  • Knowledge of current inventory systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Professional or technical certification.
  • UAE Driving License.
