Job description

Location: Dubai

Experience required: 5 years

Educational Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Marine Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Field Service Mechanical activities such as Major Overhauls, Planned Maintenance, etc., according to the work plan for 4-stroke engines, auxiliaries, and related equipment.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on 4-stroke equipment families.
• Act as system commissioning engineer and lead related commissioning activities.
• Lead and manage assigned team and activities during work execution.
• Interact with customers during work execution (e.g., introduction meetings, work scheduling).
• Monitor and report progress of assigned work.
• Create Service Work Reports and all required documentation.
• Ensure work safety and quality according to Wärtsilä guidelines and customer site procedures.
• Proactively advise and promote available products and solutions to customers.
• Possess broad knowledge of Wärtsilä equipment families.
• Extensive travel to onshore and offshore sites for energy and marine projects.
