Job description

To provide professional service to customers by accurately recording and organizing quality repair and maintenance services, thereby enhancing customer retention and after-sales revenue. The role also involves giving professional advice to customers on current and future maintenance needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Greet customers, discuss servicing and repair needs, guide them on assessment and repair of problems or faults, and record requirements correctly on the job card to avoid ambiguity and ensure quality.
  2. Explain the job contents, value, and costs involved to the customer. Obtain confirmation, prepare clear work instructions for technicians, and monitor progress to ensure proper execution.
  3. Organize inspections upon job completion to ensure quality standards are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
  4. Deliver the vehicle courteously after job completion to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity.
  5. Build and maintain profitable relationships through proactive communication and follow-up on vehicle performance, service needs, and to expand the customer base.
  6. Keep customers informed about back order parts, expected arrival dates, and demonstrate genuine interest in resolving issues to retain confidence.
  7. Update customers on work progress and facilitate vehicle delivery after collecting payment or necessary documents.
  8. Upsell accessories, service packages, and additional services; participate in service campaigns.
  9. Enhance product knowledge through web-based and classroom training.
  10. Maintain cordial relations with customers and workshop staff.
  11. Follow up on Work In Progress (WIP) with a target of closure within 30 days.
  12. Follow up with customers on long-pending vehicle deliveries.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  1. 3-5 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership in UAE.
  2. Diploma in Automobile Engineering or a graduate degree.
