Job Description

The Service Advisor Automotive plays a key role in ensuring an excellent customer experience by acting as the liaison between clients and the service department. This role involves assessing customer vehicle concerns, coordinating service appointments, preparing job estimates, and ensuring timely communication throughout the repair or maintenance process. Working in a fast-paced automotive environment, the Service Advisor must be customer-focused, technically knowledgeable, and well-versed in UAE automotive service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, and accurately documenting service requests.
  • Providing detailed explanations of service procedures, costs, and timelines to customers.
  • Coordinating with technicians to diagnose issues and determine required services or repairs.
  • Preparing accurate job estimates and obtaining customer approval before proceeding with work.
  • Monitoring the progress of each service job and updating customers on status and any changes.
  • Ensuring that service delivery meets quality, cost, and time expectations.
  • Handling customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and initiating corrective action as needed.
  • Promoting additional services or maintenance packages aligned with customer needs and vehicle history.
  • Maintaining accurate service records in line with dealership and UAE regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership or automotive service center in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance requirements, and repair procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Familiarity with automotive management software (e.g., AutoMate, CDK, or Kerridge).
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple service appointments.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus.
  • Understanding of UAE automotive regulations and industry standards.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a customer-facing role.
