Overview of the role

We are currently seeking a competent and performance-driven Service Advisor to join our team at Toyota & Lexus in Dubai. Service Advisors are the first point of contact for customers in the workshop; they represent the Service Department and embody trust and confidence.

What you will do

• Ask questions and record customer requests promptly.
• Gather accurate symptoms of complaints for quick resolutions.
• Empathize with and clarify customer requests.
• Check workshop status and promise delivery times.
• Verify invoices and work performed for accuracy.
• Inform customers upon work completion and coordinate pickup times.
• Explain the work done and invoice details clearly, guiding customers to the cashier.
• Promote value-added services.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Required skills to be successful

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership.
• Technical knowledge to provide up-to-date information in response to customer inquiries.
• Excellent customer service skills, willing to go the extra mile.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic speaking is an advantage.

About the team

The role reports to the Reception Manager and involves working in a busy workshop environment, interacting daily with Workshop Supervisor, Controller, Foreman, and Technicians.

What equips you for the role

• Diploma or Degree in Technical School, or a Certificate/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry or similar roles.
• Broad knowledge to serve as a reliable consultant is essential.
