SeniorProject Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads a team of Engineers in the project team and coordinates project resources to ensure that the assigned area meets client contractual requirements in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
• Responsible for all phases of the Project and disciplines activities as applicable for the assigned area including all HSSE, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning. Responsibilities also cover schedule and cost adherence and coordination.
• Interface with Owners' representatives.
• Closely coordinate with Engineering and participate in/contribute to Engineering/technical decisions, considering Constructability, Project requirements, schedule, and cost adherence.
• Participate in Design reviews.
• Closely coordinate preorder activities and resolve technical issues to ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders.
• Monitor performance of suppliers and subcontractors to determine compliance with contractual obligations.
• Manage the preparation and presentation of the final documentation and liaise with the Owner for the issuance of acceptance certificates.
• Provide leadership to project engineers and the team to plan, monitor, and control the execution of the assigned area within the time and budgetary parameters.

Functional Competence

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of all phases and sequences of Project execution.
• Application of multidiscipline technical knowledge.
• Possesses knowledge and experience to identify and resolve conflicts.
• Able to review and ensure delivery of Contract requirements.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of all phases and sequencing of construction execution and standard requirements and processes related to field change documents.
• Able to plan and administer project resources.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• An engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years of Project and Construction management experience in the oil and gas construction sector or Modular building construction sector.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of all phases and sequences of work in Project & construction Management.
• Exposure to Client interactions and discussions.

UAE driving license is required.

Note: Immediate joiners are preferred, maximum within 30 days of notice period. Depending on experience, candidates may be considered for either a Senior Project Engineer or a Project Engineer role.
