The ideal candidate has strong automotive knowledge, extensive workshop leadership experience, and the ability to guide a team in a hands-on environment.

Qualificações

• Diploma or certificate in Automotive Technology, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in senior automotive roles with workshop leadership.
• Strong knowledge of classic, vintage or luxury vehicle systems.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations and activities.
• Lead, assign, and monitor the work of technicians and mechanics.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in classic and vintage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles and assess repair, maintenance, and restoration requirements.
• Ensure repairs and restoration work are completed accurately and to required standards.
• Review completed work and ensure quality control before vehicle release.
• Provide technical guidance and support to workshop technicians.
• Identify recurring faults and recommend repair or maintenance solutions.
• Assist with diagnosing difficult vehicle problems and provide troubleshooting solutions.
• Monitor workshop schedules, job progress, and turnaround times.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Coordinate with management regarding vehicle repairs and workshop requirements.
• Prepare reports on identified faults, repairs, and recommended corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures and technical standards.

Job Description:

Apt Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Workshop Supervisor / Troubleshooter to join a prestigious classic car workshop in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, supervising technicians, diagnosing and troubleshooting complex vehicle issues, and ensuring that repairs and restoration work are completed to the required standards. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, extensive workshop experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead and guide a team effectively.

Diploma or certificate in Automotive Technology, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Senior Technician, Workshop Foreman, or similar senior automotive role.

Strong experience in automotive diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

Experience working with classic, vintage, or luxury vehicles is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automotive systems.

Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to identify complex vehicle faults and recommend appropriate repair solutions.

Previous experience supervising or leading a team of automotive technicians.

Ability to inspect and evaluate the quality of completed repair and restoration work.

Good knowledge of workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple workshop activities.

Willingness to work in a hands-on workshop environment.

Candidates must be currently based in the UAE and available to attend an in-person interview if shortlisted.
