Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Automotive Technology or related field.
• Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor or senior automotive role.
• Strong diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance skills.
• Experience with classic, vintage, or luxury vehicles preferred.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical automotive systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience supervising a team of automotive technicians.
• Ability to inspect and assess repair quality.
• Proficient with workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work hands-on in a UAE-based workshop.
• Must be based in the UAE and able to attend in-person interview.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, supervising technicians, diagnosing and troubleshooting complex vehicle issues, and ensuring that repairs and restoration work are completed to the required standards. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, extensive workshop experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead and guide a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations and activities.
• Lead, assign, and monitor the work of technicians and mechanics.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in classic and vintage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles and assess repair, maintenance, and restoration requirements.
• Ensure repairs and restoration work are completed accurately and according to required standards.
• Review completed work and ensure proper quality control before vehicle release.
• Provide technical guidance and support to workshop technicians.
• Identify recurring faults and recommend appropriate repair or maintenance solutions.
• Assist with diagnosing difficult or unusual vehicle problems and provide effective troubleshooting solutions.
• Monitor workshop schedules, job progress, and turnaround times.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.

Diploma or certificate in Automotive Technology, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Senior Technician, Workshop Foreman, or similar senior automotive role.

Strong experience in automotive diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

Experience working with classic, vintage, or luxury vehicles is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automotive systems.

Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to identify complex vehicle faults and recommend appropriate repair solutions.

Previous experience supervising or leading a team of automotive technicians.

Ability to inspect and evaluate the quality of completed repair and restoration work.

Good knowledge of workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple workshop activities.

Willingness to work in a hands-on workshop environment.
