Job summary

Archirodon is seeking a Welding QC Engineer for a major Abu Dhabi project. The role requires deep experience in welding quality control within Oil & Gas EPC environments, with ADNOC familiarity and senior oversight responsibilities.

You will prepare welding quality documentation, monitor all welding phases, coordinate with third‑party inspectors, and ensure proper records and qualifications are in place. A strong technical background and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years welding experience in Oil & Gas projects (ADNOC required).
• Certification in welding engineering (IWE/CWE) and ASNT Level II in RT/UT/MT/PT.
• CSWIP 3.1 is required; 3.2 is preferred.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor; Lead Auditor preferred.
• Knowledge of welding processes, procedure qualification and relevant standards (ASME IX, AWS D1.1, API 1104, ADNOC specs).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review ITPs and welding quality documentation.
• Monitor welding activities across design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Ensure records and test data are generated timely.
• Witness welder qualifications and WPS/PQR approvals.
• Coordinate with 3rd‑party testing/inspection as required.
• Identify and report non-conformances and support corrective actions.
