Job summary

Archirodon Group N.V. in Abu Dhabi seeks a Welding QC Inspector to join a highly qualified quality controls team on a major EPC project. You will review specifications and drawings to ensure welding/RTFI workmanship meets project criteria and participate in on-site inspections.

The candidate will hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, CSWIP 3.1, and ASNT Level II Radiography with at least 5 years in Oil & Gas. Fluent English and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized/reputed university.
• Experience on ADNOC projects or similar large-scale EPC projects in the UAE or Gulf region.
• CSWIP 3.1 certified.
• ASNT Level II - Radiography Test Film and Interpretation.
• Minimum 5 yrs. of experience in Oil & Gas field.
• Fluency in English.
• Computer literacy, proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements related to welding/RTFI works.
• Performs verification inspection of work elements related to welding/RTFI works, to assure compliance with established procedures and Project’s specified requirements.
• Participates in on site receiving Inspection of welding/RTFI materials.
• Prepare, review of welding specification, mix design and ITPs.
• Strong understanding of Welding Testing Standards.
