Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY is seeking an experienced Welding Engineer to oversee welding operations for diverse fabrication projects. You will develop WPS and PQRs, perform NDT-based inspections, and drive root-cause analysis for defects to minimize rework.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Welding Engineering and 15+ years in welding, with CWI preferred. Knowledge of SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW across carbon steel and stainless alloys is essential.

Qualifications

• Oversee welding operations per project specs and quality standards.
• Develop welding procedures (WPS) and PQRs for materials and joints.
• Conduct weld inspection and testing using NDT methods to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions to minimize rework.

Responsibilities

• Lead welding fabrication across diverse projects.
• Ensure adherence to international codes (AWS/ASME/API).
• Manage qualification records and performance qualifications.
