Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for Water and Wastewater in Dubai. The role focuses on technical leadership in hydrology, hydraulic modeling, and the design of water and wastewater infrastructure.

You will oversee projects from pre-design through construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory bodies. The position requires 8–10 years of experience, UAE exposure, and proficiency with Bentley SewerGems, WaterGEMS, InfoWorks, and GIS.

Qualifications

• Experience in design for water and wastewater systems, including conceptual studies and master planning.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling and computer simulations.
• Familiarity with Dubai/UAE regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on hydrology and hydraulic modeling analyses.
• Lead design and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects (sewer, stormwater, water distribution).
• Oversee development of hydraulic models for sewer and water systems using InfoWorks/InfoWater and GIS.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
• Manage pre-design, design and construction phases of wet utilities projects.
