Job summary

Jumeirah Al Naseem is seeking a Senior Waiter/ess in Food and Beverage to join our luxury beachfront resort in Dubai. The role focuses on welcoming guests, explaining menu options, and maintaining service standards across a premium dining environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Hospitality Diploma, basic Food Hygiene certification, and 1–2 years of international hospitality experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera (Cloud).

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hospitality industry.
• Basic Food and Hygiene training.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera (Cloud).
• Experience working in an international hospitality environment.
• 1–2 years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality company.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and provide information about seating arrangements.
• Explain menu items, including preparation methods and ingredients, and address allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Inform guests about daily specials and promotions not listed on the menu, ensuring they are aware of all options.
• Serve food with proper techniques, maintaining serving standards and handling practices.
• Handle cashiering duties using the MICROS system, present bills, and process payments.
• Obtain guest feedback about their dining experience and address any issues promptly.
