Job summary

Responsibilities include organizing audits and surveys, coordinating inspections (SIRE/CDI), overseeing port disbursements for husbandry, supervising loading/discharging operations, and investigating navigational incidents.

Qualifications

• Master Mariner certificate of competency is required.
• 3-7 years of sailing experience as Master on VLCCs.
• At least 2 years of shore experience as marine superintendent managing VLCCs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day vessel operations and serve as the focal point between ships and the organization.
• Coordinate and follow up on audits and surveys to ensure safe and compliant operation.
• Oversee inspections (SIRE/CDI) and ensure timely and accurate disbursements for husbandry matters.
• Monitor vessel safety, security, and incident investigations; support safe voyage execution.
