Surbana Jurong is seeking a Principal/Senior Tunnel Engineer to lead and deliver complex underground infrastructure projects in the UAE. You will oversee structural design, tunnel analysis, and multi-disciplinary coordination to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient engineering solutions.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in tunnel projects, proficiency with TBM, NATM, and Cut‑and‑Cover methods, and strong communication skills to coordinate with geotechnical teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of tunnel/underground experience.
• Experience with TBM, NATM, and Cut-and-Cover methods.
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software.
• Familiar with international codes and tunnel standards.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs and technical solutions for tunnel and underground structures.
• Perform structural analysis and prepare design calculations for tunnel linings and related works.
• Coordinate with geotechnical and multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery.
• Review design drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Provide technical support during design reviews and construction stages.
