The organisation has an established reputation for managing significant investments, developing strategic assets and supporting large-scale commercial and investment activities across its portfolio.

As the Group continues to expand its operations and investment activities, the treasury function plays an increasingly important role in supporting its financial strategy, optimising funding structures, managing financial risks and ensuring the effective deployment of capital across the business. This is an opportunity to join a prominent Abu Dhabi-based organisation with a diversified investment portfolio and ambitious long-term growth objectives.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to complex financing transactions, strategic investment activities and treasury transformation initiatives, working closely with senior leadership and contributing to the continued evolution of the Group's treasury function.

The position offers significant professional exposure within a sophisticated corporate environment and the opportunity to play an important role in supporting the Group's financial and investment strategy. This appointment represents an excellent opportunity for an accomplished treasury professional to join a sophisticated Group Finance function and contribute to the continued development of its treasury capabilities, funding strategy and operating model.

The Role

Reporting to the Corporate Treasurer, the Senior Manager – Treasury will play a key role in supporting the Group's treasury front-office activities, with particular emphasis on corporate funding, debt capital markets, financial risk management and treasury transformation.

Working closely with senior management and key stakeholders across the Group, the successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and executing appropriate financing solutions to support the organisation's investment activities, business expansion and long-term strategic objectives. The role requires a combination of strong technical treasury expertise, commercial judgement, financial modelling capabilities and the ability to engage effectively with banks, financial institutions and senior internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Support the structuring, negotiation and execution of corporate financing arrangements, including term loans, revolving credit facilities, project finance and debt capital market instruments.
  • Work closely with business units to assess funding requirements and develop appropriate financing solutions aligned with their strategic and operational objectives.
  • Support credit rating processes and debt capital markets activities, including the preparation of financial analysis, presentations and supporting documentation.
  • Establish and manage a centralised debt management framework, ensuring compliance with financing agreements, covenant requirements and stakeholder reporting obligations.
  • Identify, evaluate and manage financial risks, particularly those associated with foreign exchange movements and interest rate exposures.
  • Evaluate hedging strategies and monitor their effectiveness to ensure appropriate financial risk mitigation across the Group.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions and internal stakeholders, including Investment, FP&A and Investor Relations teams.
  • Prepare and review financial models, banking presentations, investment committee materials and senior management reports.
  • Support the design and implementation of the Group's future treasury operating model, including treasury centralisation, enhanced policies, governance and process improvements.
  • Contribute to treasury transformation initiatives, including treasury management systems, in-house banking structures, intercompany financing frameworks and automation.
  • Provide oversight and support across treasury operations, including banking arrangements, payments and treasury reporting.
Candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced corporate treasury professional with a strong background in financing, debt management and financial risk management, ideally gained within a large, diversified corporate or investment holding group.

You will demonstrate strong analytical and commercial capabilities, together with the confidence to engage with senior executives, financial institutions and investment stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 12 years' relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years within corporate treasury.
  • Strong experience in corporate financing, debt structuring, banking facilities and funding strategy.
  • Exposure to debt capital markets, credit rating processes and financial risk management.
