Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Senior Transport/Roads Design Engineer to lead the design and delivery of roads, highways, and civil infrastructure. You will work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, leveraging Civil 3D and AutoCAD for detailed drawings.

Ideal candidates have 10–16 years in transport/roads design, at least 5 years UAE project experience, and strong communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
10–16 years of experience in transport and roads design.
Minimum 5 years UAE project experience.
Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
DMT registration preferred.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of roads and transportation infrastructure projects.
Prepare and review road alignments, junction layouts, and engineering drawings.
Develop road designs using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
Ensure designs comply with project requirements and industry standards.
Attend client meetings and support technical reviews.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
