Job summary

The Transformer Installation and Commissioning Supervisor role at Siemens Energy in Abu Dhabi leads on-site activities for installation, commissioning, repair, and retrofit of transformers. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power and Machines is required or equivalent.
Certifications for transformer installation/commissioning up to 400kV held by candidate.
Strong knowledge of installation, testing, and commissioning procedures per project specs.

Responsibilities

Oversee on-site transformer installation, commissioning, repair, and retrofit activities, ensuring adherence to processes, quality, and HSE.
Provide emergency troubleshooting support during commissioning and live substations.
Capture customer requirements and feedback to develop or improve service solutions.
Prepare project schedules, methods of statement, resource planning, and forecasts for timely execution.
Drive quality improvements and reduce non-conformance costs using RCA and proactive communication.
