Job summary

AECOM in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Associate Director to lead complex advisory and transformation engagements across the UAE and wider Middle East. You will shape future-state strategy, operating models, governance and implementation with senior client stakeholders.

This role focuses on strategy, design, governance, and delivery, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to generate measurable value across infrastructure and development programmes. On-site in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in consulting, advisory, transformation or organisational change environments.
• Experience working with government, built environment, infrastructure, transport, utilities, water, energy or development organisations in the Middle East.
• Demonstrable experience leading complex client engagements from inception through delivery.
• Experience advising senior executives and government stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements across strategy, transformation and operating models.
• Design capability-led target operating models aligned to objectives.
• Develop governance, performance and accountability frameworks.
• Lead organisation design and business architecture initiatives.
• Develop transformation roadmaps translating ambition into delivery.
• Advise on major infrastructure, transport, utilities and development programmes.
• Support readiness and capability development linked to large investments.
