Job summary

Edge Group is seeking a Senior Range Services Technician in Abu Dhabi to support test ranges for evaluating equipment and vehicles. You will prepare test sites, set up testing equipment, and ensure safety and compliance with procedures.

The role involves collaboration with engineers, clients, and SMEs to enable accurate testing. Responsibilities include operating diverse testing equipment, recording data, and maintaining comprehensive logs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Min 2 years of experience in electrical, mechanical or maintenance—preferably within a defense, range, or test environment.
• Arabic speaker and fluent in English.
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs.
• Mechanical and electrical field repair and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in testing environments.
• Physically fit for environmental challenges.
• Able to drive multiple types of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Test Range Setup and Maintenance: set up equipment, barriers, targets and materials.
• Work with Engineering Services to deploy testing equipment for accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance of test range facilities and equipment.
