Job summary

Duncan & Ross is seeking a Senior Telecom Designer to prepare, review, and coordinate telecom deliverables during FEED and Detailed Design phases for onshore oil and gas projects in the UAE.

The role requires strong experience in telecom system design, fiber optic networks, CCTV, PAGA, access control, and LAN/WAN, with emphasis on industry standards and multidisciplinary coordination for reliable communications infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• Experience in FEED and detailed engineering phases.
• Strong knowledge of industrial telecom systems (CCTV, PAGA, Access Control, Radio, Fiber, LAN/WAN).
• Familiar with IEC/ITU/TIA-EIA/NFPA standards and oil & gas specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review telecom deliverables including system architectures and cable schedules.
• Design telecom systems for onshore oil & gas facilities (fiber, CCTV, PAGA, access, radio, LAN/WAN).
• Coordinate telecom activities with electrical, instrumentation, process, and civil disciplines.
• Prepare telecom design calculations, equipment sizing, and layouts.
• Support procurement activities, including vendor document reviews.
