Job summary

edara in Dubai seeks a senior network engineer to act as second level support for fault and problem management across du Transport Network, core, data centers and interconnects.

The role focuses on proactive fault handling, network optimization, and ensuring seamless service delivery through Cisco, Nokia and Huawei devices, with CCNP, 7+ years IP networking, and scripting skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, network engineering or IT (telecom equivalent).
• CCNP certification is required.
• Experience with Wireshark, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, QoS, AAA, and scripting (Python).

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level support and fault management across du Transport Network and data centers.
• Escalate issues promptly to vendors and drive resolution within SLAs.
• Analyze performance reports to prevent issues and optimize network performance.
• Review device configurations periodically to remove unnecessary settings.
• Engage service owners to understand problems and provide clear responses.
