Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer, Construction (Telecom) to lead telecom installations on oil and gas projects at site. You will oversee testing, commissioning, and handover, ensuring conformity to specifications, safety codes, and schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics or Electrical), 15+ years of oil & gas experience, GCC knowledge, and strong leadership to coordinate contractors, vendors, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics or Electrical) is mandatory.
15+ years of oil & gas sector experience.
5 years in GCC region.
5 years in similar position.
Extensive experience in Oil & Gas pipeline.
Strong knowledge of fiber-optic networks, CCTV, access control, PAGA, radio, telephone, and data systems.
Experience in EPC/EPCM project environments.
In-depth understanding of HSE requirements and industry codes/standards.
Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom systems.
Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction work packages.
Coordinate contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and other disciplines.
Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
Manage inspections, system integration, completion, and handover activities.
Resolve technical and site-related issues.
