Job summary

Grant Thornton UAE is seeking a technically strong Senior Consultant to deliver technology risk, IT audit, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, resilience, and emerging technology engagements. You will independently manage workstreams, conduct client walkthroughs, prepare high-quality papers, and support across financial services, government, and critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

Minimum 4–6 years in IT audit, technology risk, cybersecurity or related advisory services.
Experience conducting ITGC, cybersecurity, cloud, or regulatory assessments in regulated sectors.
Knowledge of UAE IA, NIST, ISO 27001 and Central Bank cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

Execute IT audits, ITGC reviews, and technology risk assessments.
Review controls across access management, change management, backups, and monitoring.
Assess cybersecurity maturity, compliance, and regulatory-readiness against CSF, ISO, and local standards.
Review core banking or critical business applications for security controls and resilience.
Evaluate cybersecurity solutions (IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, SIEM, IAM, PAM).
Lead client interviews, prepare working papers and remediation roadmaps.
Guide junior team members and review technical outputs.
