Senior Technology Resilience Manager-Data Center in BFSI
We have an urgent requirement for Senior Technology Resilience Manager-Data Center in the BFSI domain for our banking client based in Dubai.
Responsibilities :
- Manage Technology Service Resilience for datacentres / computer rooms (24+ locations on-premises, co-locations, cloud) globally.
- Assess, develop, test, and maintain an IT Service Resilience Plan to recover IT and telecommunications systems during disasters or business disruptions.
- Lead a global Technology Service Resilience testing program to ensure recovery from disruptions across all locations, including international sites.
- Manage Technology Service Resilience for all sites, including UAE and international locations, covering primary and secondary data centres in physical and cloud environments.
- Participate in cloud technology strategy planning, service, site, roadmap planning, service recovery capability, and SLA development to align with the bank’s resilience policies.
- Implement modern recovery techniques and strategies to build a resilient technology support infrastructure, ensuring rapid recovery of business operations and critical IT systems.
Mandatory Skills :
- 15+ years of experience in multi-site technology service resiliency programs within financial services.
- Expertise in managing technology services across data centers, co-location, multitenant, and cloud environments.
- Professional certification in Business and Technology Service Resilience.
- Advanced knowledge of IT operations, high availability devices, and equipment.
- Extensive experience with IT Disaster Recovery Automation, Infrastructure Storage, and Operating Systems.
- Strong understanding of Servers, data processing equipment, and peripherals.
- Ability to analyze complex production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and procedures.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills and responsiveness to queries from managers, clients, and customers.
- Familiarity with Change Control Processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Business Continuity Planning, Incident, and Problem Management.
- Expertise in operating systems, job control languages, file transfer protocols, and production control software.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, IT Strategy, Information Security, Cost Management, TCO, ROI, Vendor Management, Project Management, ITIL, ISO standards, and technology consulting.
Decision Making Authority & Responsibility :
- Responsible for developing and executing the Technology Service Resilience Strategy.
- Support Business Continuity Plans and implement technologies to ensure high availability of mission-critical systems.
