About the Role
As a Senior Technology Lead at Horizontal Digital, you will manage, develop, and implement technology solutions for clients. This critical role owns the full technology stack supporting our digital solutions.
You should be a digital technology expert comfortable leading as a player/coach, managing developer resources, and working closely with project teams to define requirements, shape solutions, and ensure quality. You will collaborate across multiple projects with diverse teams including front-end and back-end developers, strategists, project managers, and the UX/creative team. Your goal is to lead a team to produce excellent work, expand our technical capabilities, and meet client digital objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assign and oversee daily tasks of developers to create intuitive, scalable, and effective experiences.
- Resolve blockers and act as an escalation point.
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including performance reviews and career development.
- Contribute to business development through proposals, estimates, and client presentations.
- Meet with clients to assess challenges and translate needs into technical requirements.
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of digital technology solutions such as websites, systems integration, or applications.
- Improve our digital technology approach and ensure compliance with quality, accessibility, and security standards.
- Communicate project status, progress, and risks.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to recruit and hire as needed.
- Participate in sprint planning to ensure team objectives and commitments.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on development experience with digital content management systems, specifically Sitecore, and proficiency in web programming languages (.Net C#).
- At least 4 years managing teams.
- 3+ years leading digital technology solutions using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks across web, mobile, and social media.
- Experience integrating with search and analytics platforms like Google, Adobe, or Coveo.
- Strong management and communication skills.
- Business development experience, including scoping projects, estimating, and presenting solutions.
- Ability to analyze business goals and translate into technical strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (preferred).

- Recent Sitecore and/or Microsoft certifications.
