Job description

The Sr. Technology Engineer will be responsible for implementing all the changes and delivering new technology into the Bank by onboarding customers and applications to the Platform via self-service and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Experience with Windows tooling.
2. Clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, enhancing transparency across teams.
3. Automate deployment and configuration management tasks to ensure consistent and scalable environments.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues collaboratively with development and operations teams.
5. Implement and manage cross-platform enterprise applications, IIS, Windows Server, and databases (MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
6. Strong troubleshooting skills for client and server-side issues using available tools.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage environments using Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools.
8. Knowledge of Public Cloud Providers like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or OCI.
9. Experience with NCR products such as NDC, Activate, Connections, and understanding of transaction flows.
10. Automate workflows and build pipelines using scripting tools, integrating different systems.
11. Manage projects from inception to delivery, providing operational support.
12. Understand ATMS/NCR products comprehensively.
13. Work effectively under pressure and manage client expectations.
14. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
15. Build trustworthy and professional relationships with stakeholders.
16. Adopt and promote the Group’s values across the team.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. 7+ years of engineering or operational experience.
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
3. Experience in large, complex, global enterprises with high availability and transaction rates.
4. Excellent communication and articulation skills.
5. Experience managing enterprise applications across IIS, Windows Server, and databases (MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
6. Troubleshoot client and server issues effectively.
7. Experience hosting and managing cloud-based applications, preferably on AWS.
8. Support ATM applications and vendor systems (NCR, GRG, Diebold).
9. Work with NCR Product Suite; preferred: NDC, Activate Enterprise Suite, Connections.
10. Automate workflows and build pipelines using scripting.
11. Design and implement AI-based tools to streamline processes.
12. Adhere to security procedures and protocols.
13. Understand network layers and firewall configurations.
14. Manage and query relational databases using SQL, Oracle, and advanced queries.
15. Experience with SCCM: packaging, deployment, scheduling.
16. Knowledge of domain policies, OU creation, AppLocker, and PC hardening.
17. Understanding of ISO8583 messaging standard.
18. Experience with TLF and reconciliation in ATM/financial systems.
19. Scripting skills with Linux and Windows command line.
20. Programming skills in C++, C#, Python, or Java.
21. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting.
22. Hands-on experience with Kibana, Elasticsearch, alerting, and monitoring tools.
23. Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
24. Knowledge of virtualization tools like VMware or Hyper-V.
25. Value-added skills: AI/machine learning integration, experience in financial/ATM systems, strong communication and documentation skills.
