The Sr. Technology Engineer will be responsible for implementing all the changes and delivering new technology into the Bank by onboarding customers and applications to the Platform via self-service and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience with Windows tooling.
- Clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, enhancing transparency across teams.
- Automate deployment and configuration management tasks to ensure consistent and scalable environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues collaboratively with development and operations teams.
- Implement and manage cross-platform enterprise applications, IIS, Windows Server, and databases (MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for client and server-side issues using available tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage environments using Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools.
- Knowledge of Public Cloud Providers like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or OCI.
- Experience with NCR products such as NDC, Activate, Connections, and understanding of transaction flows.
- Automate workflows and build pipelines using scripting tools, integrating different systems.
- Manage projects from inception to delivery, providing operational support.
- Understand ATMS/NCR products comprehensively.
- Work effectively under pressure and manage client expectations.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Build trustworthy and professional relationships with stakeholders.
- Adopt and promote the Group’s values across the team.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 7+ years of engineering or operational experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
- Experience in large, complex, global enterprises with high availability and transaction rates.
- Excellent communication and articulation skills.
- Experience managing enterprise applications across IIS, Windows Server, and databases (MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
- Troubleshoot client and server issues effectively.
- Experience hosting and managing cloud-based applications, preferably on AWS.
- Support ATM applications and vendor systems (NCR, GRG, Diebold).
- Work with NCR Product Suite; preferred: NDC, Activate Enterprise Suite, Connections.
- Automate workflows and build pipelines using scripting.
- Design and implement AI-based tools to streamline processes.
- Adhere to security procedures and protocols.
- Understand network layers and firewall configurations.
- Manage and query relational databases using SQL, Oracle, and advanced queries.
- Experience with SCCM: packaging, deployment, scheduling.
- Knowledge of domain policies, OU creation, AppLocker, and PC hardening.
- Understanding of ISO8583 messaging standard.
- Experience with TLF and reconciliation in ATM/financial systems.
- Scripting skills with Linux and Windows command line.
- Programming skills in C++, C#, Python, or Java.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Kibana, Elasticsearch, alerting, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of virtualization tools like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Value-added skills: AI/machine learning integration, experience in financial/ATM systems, strong communication and documentation skills.
