Job summary

EDGE Advanced Concepts in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Lead to supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspection of machined and fabricated components for aerospace and defense programs. You will oversee QC inspectors and ensure adherence to drawings and customer specifications.

Maintain NCR/CAPA records, drive corrective actions, and ensure calibration of measuring instruments and CMM operations in a fast-paced, ISO/AS9100 aligned environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Quality Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of experience in quality control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality inspection tools.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments including CMMs, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and comparators.
• Experience in documenting NCRs, CAPAs, and maintaining inspection records.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO standards and internal audit processes.
• Experience in precision manufacturing, aerospace, or defense sectors
