Job summary

EDGE Group is seeking a Material QC Senior Supervisor in Abu Dhabi to lead inspection across incoming materials, in-process, and finished products. You will ensure compliance with quality standards, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with Production, Procurement and Engineering to elevate manufacturing performance.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background (Bachelor's or Diploma) with 5+ years in quality control, experience leading teams, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment and knowledge of ISO 9001.
Experience leading quality inspection activities and teams; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead material inspection, testing, and quality control across incoming, in-process, and finished products.
Review and approve inspection records, test reports, and ERP quality transactions.
Oversee calibration and traceability of measuring and testing equipment.
Investigate non-conformities and implement corrective actions; support continuous improvement.
Lead and develop quality inspection teams and ensure IMS, QMS, and HSE compliance.

About The Role

As a Material QC Senior Supervisor at EDGE, you will lead quality control activities across incoming materials, in-process inspections, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. Working closely with Production, Procurement, and Engineering teams, you will oversee inspection processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and drive operational excellence across manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001), inspection methods, and ERP systems.
Experience leading quality inspection activities and teams.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the defense, ammunition, or explosives industry.
Internal Auditor (IMS) certification.
Knowledge of calibration systems, statistical analysis, and manufacturing quality processes.
