Senior Technician Operator

The Senior Technician (Operator) HV Team is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-voltage (HV) electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, and substations at the DEWA Phase VI Solar Plant. This role ensures that HV equipment operates safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with DEWA grid code and electrical safety regulations.

The Senior Technician will work closely with Senior HV Engineers, O&M teams, and DEWA grid operators to perform switching operations, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Expertise in HV substation operations and switching procedures.
2. Ability to diagnose and resolve faults in HV electrical systems.
3. Familiarity with SCADA monitoring, relay settings, and transformer testing.
4. Strong understanding of HSE requirements for HV work environments.
