Senior Technical Office Engineer (Architectural Background)

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Office Engineer with a strong architectural background to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and architectural teams, ensuring design quality, technical compliance, and timely delivery of project documentation. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural, MEP, and civil engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
  • Prepare and oversee detailed technical documentation, shop drawings, and design submissions for client and regulatory approvals.
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and technical requirements.
  • Support the resolution of design-related issues and provide technical guidance to project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and company procedures.
  • Assist in scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting for technical deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication between design disciplines to resolve conflicts and optimize design solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices in design coordination and quality assurance.
Qualifications
