Job summary

Azizi Developments seeks an experienced Technical Material Engineer to join its Chief Technical Office in Dubai. You will evaluate, review, and approve civil and structural construction materials for high-rise and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project specs and UAE standards.

Key requirements include a Civil Engineering degree and 8–12 years of relevant experience on contractor and consultant sides, with exposure to UAE/GCC high-rise projects. On-site role in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• 8–12 years of material engineering or technical submittals experience.
• Experience on both contractor and consultant sides in UAE/GCC.
• Knowledge of BS, ASTM, EN standards and Dubai approvals.
• Experience with MARs, technical data sheets, test reports and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit Material Approval Requests (MARs) for civil/structural materials.
• Coordinate with consultants to obtain timely material approvals.
• Review laboratory test results and certificates for compliance.
• Maintain technical documentation and approval tracking.
• Coordinate material testing with third‑party labs and QA/QC teams.
• Evaluate alternatives and support value engineering proposals.
• Interface with suppliers, procurement, and site teams to ensure material conformance.
