Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve FFED / EPC Contractors deliverables and ensure compliance with Contract obligations, Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, design philosophy, and Industry best practices.
  • Ensure engineering works are performed to meet project schedules and that completed works are delivered safely and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate all communications and meetings with the Contractors regarding engineering/design requirements as they may arise.
  • Actively manage Contractors HSE process of hazard identification (HAZID) including risk analysis and mitigation.
  • Participate in Layout P&ID HAZID, HAZOP, SIL Layout Safety Reviews, PSSR, constructability reviews, 3D Model reviews, safety audits, QRA workshops, etc.
  • Attend internal progress and engineering meetings as required with the Contractors.
  • Ensure uniformity and standardization compatibility at optimum levels in design and engineering in all phases of the project.
  • Manage and audit the work of Contractor and ensure that quality and standards are maintained and cost-effective solutions are adopted.
  • Ensure the design works of Contractor are in accordance with the scope of work and project technical specifications.
  • Review Action Tracking Registers and ensure close out of all process safety actions arising out of key reviews, workshops, HSSEQ studies, safety-related concerns, etc.
  • Review Emergency Response procedures and plans for Loss Prevention inputs including alignment with Owner specifications and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering. Experience of Projects involving offshore upstream oil and gas project, etc.
