Role

We are hiring an experienced Information Manager for our Middle East Site Ops delivery team. This role involves a mix of functions from internal process improvements to supervising construction project delivery. The ideal candidate will focus on people, processes, and technology to ensure project teams adhere to standards and industry best practices. They will also support project teams with proposals, bids, and project delivery.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in architecture or engineering with 8 years of experience in the AEC industry, preferably with at least 3 years in the Middle East region, working with engineering/design consultancy, PMC, or contractor.
  • At least 4 years experience in digital delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects (Information Management).
  • Information Management certification from a relevant institution (e.g., BRE, Operam Academy, RICS).
  • Software certifications such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil3D, ArcGIS, Synchro, Fuzor are desirable.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards like LOD 300-500.
  • Contractor experience and understanding of digital project delivery from design to handover are advantageous.
  • Experience working with various stakeholders including contractors, consultants, PMCs, vendors, and clients.
Key Skill Requirements
  • Understanding of data management and ISO 19650 standards.
  • Knowledge in engineering design and multidisciplinary design coordination.
  • Proficiency with authoring tools from vendors like Autodesk, Bentley, Rhino, Trimble.
  • Knowledge of model federation and coordination platforms such as Navisworks, BIM Track, Revizto.
  • Experience with Common Data Environments (CDE) like BIM360, ASITE, or ProjectWise.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI.
  • Desirable knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo.
  • Familiarity with construction sequencing (4D), quantity takeoffs (5D), VR/AR.
  • Understanding of construction quality processes.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in developing Information Management documents (e.g., BEP, federation strategy, responsibility matrix).
  • Understanding of MIDP/TIDP.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and spatial coordination.
Job Duties
  • Ensure digital content is created, stored, and published using best practices and latest technologies.
  • Implement and follow internal and external capability and capacity processes.
  • Facilitate CDE usage by project teams.
  • Supervise clash detection and resolution activities.
  • Perform effective information management throughout the project lifecycle, complying with ISO 19650 and industry standards.
  • Understand construction processes thoroughly.
  • Support AtkinsRalis' global and regional digital initiatives.
  • Maintain ISO 19650 certification annually.
  • Assist the Digital Lead as per the RACI matrix.
  • Advise on supporting technologies such as drones, robots, satellite imagery.
  • Provide guidance on point cloud data for as-built models.
  • Oversee QA/QC of LOD 400-500 models.
  • Develop information management uses like 4D, 5D, VR/AR.
  • Support COBie, Uniclass, and Masterclass implementations.
  • Strategically plan for asset information models and O&M data.
