Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, developers, and data scientists.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of projects related to BIM, GIS, smart cities, and digital twin technologies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Project Planning:

  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders including government agencies, city planners, and private sector partners.
  • Ensure successful project delivery from conceptual design through deployment and maintenance.

Technical Oversight:

  • Provide technical leadership in the design and integration of BIM, GIS, and digital twin solutions into smart city projects.
  • Ensure the adoption of best practices in data management, software development, and system integration.
  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Strategy and Innovation:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance smart city initiatives using BIM, GIS, and digital twin technologies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and technological advancements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary technical liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Present technical concepts and project updates to senior management, clients, and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Computer Science, Geospatial Science, or a related field (master's or Ph.D. preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in smart cities, BIM, GIS, digital twins, or related fields.
  • Proven track record in leading complex engineering projects and managing technical teams in Abu Dhabi.

Skills:

  • Expertise in BIM, GIS, smart city technologies, and digital twin platforms.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and programming languages (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ArcGIS, Python).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE, GISP) preferred.
  • Experience with public sector projects and regulatory environments is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
