Job summary

Hitachi Energy L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to develop and deliver training for Micro SCADA and RTU products, both on-site and in classrooms. The role involves coordinating course materials, descriptions, and delivery while ensuring safety and quality.

You will work with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to support training initiatives and customer engagements. The candidate should have a strong background in Micro SCADA, RTU products, and related engineering tools,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications or related field.
• 8–15 years of related experience with Micro SCADA products.
• Experience as technical support/commissioning engineer.
• Knowledge of IEC protocols (IEC61850, IEC101, IC104, Modbus).
• Exposure to SYS600 engineering tools (View Builder and Display Builder) and RTU PLC logic.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update training material for on-site and classroom courses.
• Coordinate course descriptions, programs and delivery.
• Provide technical support for Micro SCADA/RTU products and field teams.
• Respond to customer inquiries and ensure training quality.
• Contribute to knowledge base and product/process improvements.
