Job summary

e& is seeking an experienced SCADA engineer in Dubai to design, deploy and configure SCADA platforms and related infrastructure. The role involves hands-on implementation, L2 support, and integration of control room technologies, AV systems, and weather stations.

You will supervise SCADA/PLC/DCS installations, review instrumentation documents, and ensure HSE compliance while coordinating IT hosting and OTN/substation infrastructure as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in SCADA implementation and support.
• 7+ years as Resident Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate design, deployment and configuration of SCADA platforms and related infrastructure.
• Oversee SCADA/PLC/DCS installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Review instrumentation documents (I/O Lists, FDS, Instrument Index, System Architecture).
• Coordinate IT hosting infrastructure deployment and DCIM solutions.
• Ensure HSE compliance and customer requirements are met.
• Liaise with customer for approvals and permits.

Job Description:

We are looking for this role to execute the design, deployment and configuration of SCADA platforms, including IT hosting, DC containers, OTN infrastructure, and substation systems. The role involves hands‑on implementation, L2 support, and integration of control room technologies, AV systems, and weather stations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Validate Design, Deployment and configuration SCADA platforms and related infrastructure.


• Ensure validity of overall technical solution


• Supervision of SCADA, PLC, and DCS installation, testing, and commissioning activities


• Review & Validate instrumentation documents, such as I/O Lists, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Instrument Index, and System Architecture


• Preparation of all relevant documentation for material receipt, inspection and installation


• Ensuring Customer compliance and HSE policy requirements are met


• Support in deployment of IT hosting infrastructure and support systems.


• Coordinate configuration of OTN and substation infrastructure.


• Ensure Proper integration of control room AV, video wall, and technical furniture.


• Support outside plant cabling and DCIM solutions.


• Assist with cybersecurity services (firewall, AV).


• Integrate weather station systems.


• Laise with customer to arrange necessary approvals and permits.


• Oversee and execute the daily tasks while ensuring all partner teams are actively working toward established milestones

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related discipline.


• 5+ years of experience in SCADA platform implementation and support, 7+ years of Resident Engineer


• Strong technical skills in IT infrastructure and AV systems.


• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
