Job summary

Arab Monetary Fund in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Specialist, Technical Assistance to coordinate and deliver technical assistance in central banking and financial sector development. You will conduct research, prepare project proposals, organize missions, and manage inputs from internal experts and external partners to advance policy initiatives.

The role requires excellent Arabic and English writing, collaboration across departments, and the ability to translate insights into concrete

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial sector policy development with program management exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in monetary economics, financial economics, law, international relations, or related field; master’s preferred.
• Excellent communication and writing skills in Arabic and English; French, as a third language, is a solid advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, deliver technical assistance and peer-to-peer activities in central banking and financial sector development.
• Prepare project proposals, coordinating input from internal experts and external partners.
• Organize and lead technical assistance missions and ensure quality assurance reviews of reports.
• Ensure progress tracking with measurable indicators and support impact evaluation.
• Communicate policy proposals and frameworks to internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support objectives.
