Bloom World Academy, located in the centre of Dubai in a state-of-the-art new building/campus, is seeking to appoint a Senior Teacher for our brand-new bespoke nursery to start in January 2024.

Our Story

Bloom World Academy was launched in August 2022 and educates children from 18 months to 18 years. The school has been hugely successful, challenging convention and doing things differently in Dubai for the benefit of learners, families, and teachers.

Following a successful first year, we are expanding to include a small nursery as part of our Primo (early years) section. We are opening two groups initially and are recruiting staff for this initiative.

BWA emphasizes family life, encouraging parents to be involved in school activities, workshops, and community forums. The nursery expansion aims to enhance this family-first approach, prioritizing current families for placements.

Our Educational Approach

At Bloom World Academy, every aspect of learning has been carefully considered, leading to many firsts in the UAE, such as starting at 9 am, allowing students and families to choose their learning pathways, and providing a Learning Achievement Passport (LAP) to track progress.

The Position

We seek creative and experienced practitioners for the role of Senior Nursery Teacher in our Primo section. You should be committed to holistic child development, using a curiosity-inspired approach with a focus on the EYFS prime areas. While academic achievement is important, social, emotional, and physical development are equally prioritized to ensure a successful transition to formal schooling.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the English Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), experience with the curiosity approach or Montessori training, and a proven track record of achieving outstanding student outcomes. You will design engaging play-based learning experiences, plan a balance of adult-led and child-initiated activities, and be passionate about nurturing each child's potential.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient English language skills.
• Early years teaching degree or CACHE Level 3 (or equivalent).
• At least five years of teaching experience in reputable nurseries or early years settings.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and a curiosity-inspired approach.
• Professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
• Inter-cultural awareness and excellent communication skills.
